Hello 2021

#AmericanGirlDoll Caroline is celebrating the end of 2020 and welcoming 2021 in this pink dress. 

This satin and sparkle overlay dress is a shortened version of #Thimblesandacorns Regency dress on #Pixiefaire.  I cut the skirt at only 7 inches long instead of the full length.

Christmas 2020

 

As we all know 2020 has been an interesting year. 

Do to some major personal changes in my life, #AmericanGirlDoll Ellie is modeling the only look in the 2020 Christmas Collection. 

This red dress is from a sparkle cotton from the #elliesstyle Dawn pattern. 

The dress features a gathered bodice and a gored full skirt for a style reminiscent of the 50s.  

Ellie has accessorized with a red and white necklace and white shoes. 

October Dawn

October Wedding

 

In her #Ellie'sStyle custom dress, #Barbie is ready for an October wedding. 

Her bodice features a beaded trim creating a halter style neckline. 

The lace of the skirt is embellished with sequin and prarls and edged with yhe same trim as the bodice.

The look is simply accessorized with white shoes, a simple veil and a boquet of pink flowers. 

Polka Dot Dreams

Vintage 80s

 When thinking of the 80s, there's the quintessential stuff everyone thinks about...side ponytails, oversized clothes and bright colors.  

Then there's the other side, Gunne Sax and Jessica McClintock. The 80s version of vintage style. 

#AmericanGirlDoll Samantha is modeling the #Ellie'sStyle Jessica dress  inspired by a Gunne Sax look I wore for my eighth grade graduation breakfast. 

Beside Samantha is the sketch from the pattern used for my dress.

Pink Dawn

 #Barbie in an outfit inspired by the looks made famous by Charles Dana Gibson in the 1890s.   

Prelude to a Bustle

#Barbie in a green bustle skirt with pleat detailing and a matching jacket.   Both are trimmed with gold. In the grand scheme of bustles, this is a smaller one.

Medieval Lady in Purple

#Barbie in a purple velvet dress from the middle ages covered with a purple velvet cape edges in fur.  The sleeves are lined with a gold fabric. 

The look is accessorized with a jeweled cross necklace.

Victorian Alicia

As I was sorting through things during the stay at home orders, I ran across a few pueces I had forgotten about starting.

Ellie's 70s Reboot

This 70s style dress has a collar and a neckline slit.  The empire waist arches up slightly in the front. And the sleeves are trimmed in lace. 

Hope

Hope: that normal is around the corner, that an opportunity to wear a new dress is around the corner.

This dress features a flower print sheer over a cotton lining.

May the day come when we all get to wear our Easter dress.

Deviation to Helping

Deviating from the doll clothes I have switched to helping those around me.
While fabric masks are not ideal, locally we're being asked just in case, because its better than having nothing.

I challenge you to find a way to make a difference in your community.
